Section 5
Prohibition not applicable
: Notwithstanding anything contained in other sections of this Act: The following persons shall not be deemed to be prohibited from consuming narcotic drugs in the following circumstances
(a) On the recommendation of an approved physician for the purpose of medication, a person may purchase and consume the recommended amount of narcotic drugs from a licensed shop. (b) Persons of the specified category to consume prescribed amount of narcotic drugs.
